You don't need a cover note, you just need to be on the MID. Once that is done, you can tax it online.

Just bought the bike,so it's not registered as mine with the d.v.l.a. yet,and they can only send the tax disk to the adress on their system...

Yeah that happened to me...I just taxed it and told the guy to send me it!

Technically, I don't think I was legal to ride it, but I did as soon as it was 'taxed'. You won't show up on an ANPR camera, and if I was unlucky enough to be stopped and had the receipt I would like to have thought I'd be ok.

Bummer, Almost happend to me so i paid the guy i was buying it from to tax it first.

12 oclock start blyth quayside , pick up eater eggs , ride a round picking them up from pubs etc then take them all to a hospital , it is a police contolled thing but there are bikes of all types and plenty of stops , so take plenty tabs if you smoke lol, bit of shhowing off my the big boys bikes , then leave , there is a night on to but i wont be at that that bit , its in a pub some where up that way live bands etc , but iam sure you could find some thing out about that on the day
