JoshTimmins Posted April 14, 2009 Share Posted April 14, 2009 Went out on the bike for the last 2 nights.. gettin it outa me garden i need to do a sharp right turn.. soo full lock... now this starts to kill the engine.. starts to die. keep a few revs on while like this, or turn back it stops dieing. Any ideas?!Is there a cable loose, and turnin it right is affecting this? Thanks for your helpJoshxand yes i am surprised too ! 2nights on the bike! who wuld believe it! Guest Posted April 14, 2009 Share Posted April 14, 2009 Put the bike on the centre stand and move the bars left lock to right lock and see if occurs under those conditions - sounds like a snagged or faulty throttle cable to me though. JoshTimmins Posted April 14, 2009 Author Share Posted April 14, 2009 ok quickly checked. found the problem, i think.full lock right, strectches the choke cable turnin the choke on - dead.This is after we had to amend the position of the choke cable when we changed speedos.
