Korben Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Not very far... Went to CMC's to look at the sale... Had a few good things, but nothing I really wanted. Was close to picking up some Red Route Jeans as they were at a good price, but didn't bother in the end.... Probably popping back tomorrow this time and might well make some purchases...Then rode of to the new Akehurst household... Very nice to see the family and the new house, although a lot of their furniture looks just like cardboard boxes!! Mark also has a mahooooooosive garage. Instantly jealous!!!Then a quick ride home... Had my first ever (Although minor) tank slapper. Went for a pass on a car, pulled out and straight over a fairly large stoner.. Front wheel came down just as the back wheel rode the same stone and the whole bike shimmied.... Stayed on the gas and it sorted it self out... Let's you know you are alive eh... Unfortunately came across a bunch of IDIOT 125cc and 50cc riders who were messing around with some lads in a yellow chav Saxo... Saxo was trying to shove em off the road and the riders seemed to be egging him on.... Got past quick and left em to it... Honestly felt like stopping and calling the police!!Not a load of miles, but nice weather and good fun.... Oh, new Radiator cover is on...http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc324/bikerkorben/DSC00864.jpg Quote
Guest Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Sounds fun mate, there always seems to be idiots around on the roads these days, they create a bad reputaion for other 125cc riders dont they. Quote
Korben Posted April 18, 2009 Author Posted April 18, 2009 Aye... Not all are bad... Just these idiots... Saw loads of 125's today that were brilliant riders... Moved over for other bikes and were considerate.. Quote

Ratser Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 Korbs,I picked up a pair of Red route jeans the other week in J&S.Were £99.99 reduced to £79 with their 20% off promo. They also had some very nice other ones significantly cheaper too. Can't remember the make, but the only thing they didn't have was the knee protectors.Still had the kevlar, and pockets for the protectors. Korben Posted April 20, 2009 Author Posted April 20, 2009 Didn't bother in the end. Might do if we have a really hot summer though. Been told BMF is gonna be the place for cheap gear anyway. Quote
