Jerry Can Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Good Evening,I have a new Arai and have found I'm getting moisture between the pinlock insert and the visor, which is a real pain because once it's in there it takes ages to disperse. Is the pinlock actually stuck to the visor? If so, does anyone know of any quick treatments to sort it? (Apart from re glue, and how would I do that? what glue etc? ah you get the idea)Large thanks to you all in advance Quote
Korben Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 The pinlock is not stuck, but the rim should seal.If you look at the pins themselves you will see they are slightly offset to allow you to loosen and tighten the visor insert....If you turn them it should tighten the visor insert to the visor making the visor insert seal itself agains the visor. chris128 Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 arent they illegal though? tinted visors i mean. Quote
Ratser Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Bought a new dark tint visor and clear pinlock insert for it too.Should be at the house when I get home. I take it the pinlock is easy to remove ?The guy who fitted the one in store managed to trap a few dusty particles in there and I want to clean it, but keep forgetting until I am out on the road. Jerry Can Posted May 8, 2009 Author Posted May 8, 2009 arent they illegal though? tinted visors i mean. Well the dark ones are for race use yea but I got a light tint to ease the sun in the eyes a little bit and they're cool otherwise infinity wouldn't sell em........I'm gonna get a dark too anyways, f**k the police, if you can wear any sunglasses you like then why not a visor? It's a carp law me thinks. Quote
