ok all heres the situation

i took my plugs out of my bike today (Zephyr 550) and its running super lean

the plugs are like rust colour and where only changed 2000 miles ago if that, so what do i do how do i adjest and balance the carbs with no skills in the carb system, also this problem of no money or tooling to check the vacume or seethrough plug to check combustion colour.

ill post a photo up when i can of the plugs the worse plug is 4 and the others almost the same colours

carbs arent easy mate without the right tools and the know how :?

its not as simple as changing the jets there is also the needles to think about and the needle height

i know of someone selling some vac gauges if your interested i will ask him how much if you like

balancing the carbs will have no effect on the fueling issue though

what makes you think the bike is running lean?

is it standard? (i.e. exhaust/ air filter)

they are supposed to be biscuit colour.

no its on a K&N air filter and the front main baffles have been removed (not through choice) and the colour is like the worn plug but without the bit missing ill add photos 2moz
