Guest Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Hi All, decided after numerous screens etc to get a small headlight fairing for my GSX, found one of an ER-5 in blue, but bikes silver, so out came the rattle cans..prepped with Wet and dry 1200, wet. and then grey primer, more 1200 wet, bmw arctic silver, and laquer, several coats of each, along with some sumshine and a gas fire to help drying/curing.. was fitted to bike for test and some new alloy flat bar drilled/shaped for bracketery, so should be on for real next weekend, and keeping the wind and flies off me...Pre- PaintingAfter Quote

Guest Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Say what now? , Although the process sounds a bit complicated, looks good!waiting to get out and ride, did the spray work Mon and Tues as i was off on R&R and could hardly walk, let alone ride.. thinking that a TMBF sticker running up the side of the screen would look good, and match with the tail....
