Bought one today and have to say I am very very impressed.

It has a laptop bag inside which will come in very handy (Padded and a good shape), along with a visor pouch (Which Velcro's to the inside of the bag to stay in place) and a waterproof bag to store your helmet in when you stop.

The bag also has straps on the outside for your lid so when it's not on my head I have somewhere else to store it.

It has a load of seperate sections and pockets inside for storing bit's n bobs as well as a large amount of space for storing bigger things.

Just to help it also has a couple of pockets on the outside of the bag at the sides, two small pockets on the straps and a 3rd very small pocket on the section where the strap attaches to the bag itself (Perfect to store my IGoTo :D )

The main zip opens very wide for ease of use and also has a cover that can be tightened when closed to stop rain getting in.

All the loose straps also have clips so they can be locked down to stop them flapping about in the wind.

Wearing it, it rests very well on your back which should stop shoulder fatigue kicking in so fast. You can fasten it across your chest and across your waist for extra security and fit.

Of course the proof in the pudding will come when it's used for the first time, but for now I am very very impressed....

Sounds fab Korben! How much was it? Update us on your thoughts about it when you've used it :thumb:

It cost £39.99. I know it can be bought slightly cheaper on the web (I think £36.99 is the cheapest I have seen it).

Looks Ideal Korben will be interested in how it holds up because I'm going to have to start getting kit together for my hols :D

I can say this bag is brilliant. I have had one for a while now and it is perfect for the bike.

Lowest price I have seen is £39 and they throw in a free first aid kit and a small tool kit for under the seat. Can't remember who was knocking them out though. There is a thread on here somewhere, I am sure someone else has one and wrote about it......

At the bike show at the NEC a few months ago the Knox stand had them (obviously) but wouldn't sell them at a discounted rate/show rate. They wouldn't budge at all. My mate was going to have one from them but I think he ended up getting one online.

Cool bag anyway!

What size laptop will it fit? Ive been looking for a decent water proof bike bag for my laptop (it cost almost the same as my bike  !) if itll fit a 15.4" laptop then i might go ahead and order one of these!

My main laptop is 17" and it fits that in. Can't zip it right the way up if it is in as one of the zips won't stretch around the corner bit but it is no problem at all. Once it is in the bag it is fully protected all around by the bag itself. Your 15" will fit in perfect as my second lappy is 15" and fits nice and snug in there. The power supply, mouse and leads and stuff like that easily fit in one of the side pockets on the bag.

The laptop bag has loops down the side of it that attach to the inside of the rucksack to keep it secure.

Sweet link thank you very much, will pop down to Every thing but bikes with my lappy and have a look see how it fits!

It will be ok! Fits my 15" nicely. :)

Another :thumb: for the Knox 6 Pack Rucksack here too. The laptop and visor bags are very handy. I used mine all through the winter without it letting a single drop of rain in. 15" widescreen laptop (Lenovo and MacBook) fitted perfectly with room to spare.

I got mine from Buster's last year with a "free" First aid kit and tool kit for £39.99. I've seen it in their weekly offers as well since, without those freebies, but with other bits.

My only "gripe" is it's quite heavy before you load it with stuff. Once you fill it up, you really know you've got it on your back, especially if riding any distance. If I don't need a "big" laptop, I use a tank bag and/or a Kriega tail bag instead which will fit my X61 Lenovo (12" screen) laptop, which free's me up, but is more hassle when parking up securely.

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing. Just amazing. I rode to Wales today (About a 90 mile trip). I had my heavy laptop, 4 days of clothing, and a load of other bits and bobs in it. The only time I remembered I had it on was when I got off my bike to pay for fuel and lost my balance because of it. It holds it's weight on you so well, you just forget it's there.

Big thumbs up from me!!

It is classed as fully waterproof. As well as the material being waterproof the main zip also has a cover over it that can be tightened to make sure it seals the zip area fully. Not tried it in the rain yet, but would have confidence in it...

Korben, whats the quality of the straps like?

also do they come with any warranty?

Posted

Straps are very strong and good quality mate... Dunno about warranty, but knowing Knox I suspect they will be good if you have any issues...
