You probz think im thick as anything... but i couldnt figure out if the bikes were a 250 or a 1000...


I heard the commentators say 250... but god no way they can do 180... must be 1000s right?

moto GP uses 800cc now


and they do race 250's but not in the same race as the 800's :)

depends what race. The one Lorenzo just won is 800. Not too sure bout top speed of the 250s...the 125s do 130 max i think

Ye ok cool... what kinda bikes are the 800s then? like... I thought they were Yamaha R1.. CBR Fireblade 1000...

The 800's are hand made specials, its World Superbikes and British Superbikes that use R1's etc...

great last lap - pedrosa and dovvy good scrap..


unlucky rossi 4 times in pits!


motoGP bikes are prototypes they are not allowed to be in production. there are v5 engines, the yammie big bang engine etc etc


also carbon fibre frames and swingarms. cost of bike about 2.5million ea

There not that much, and I believe theres no v5's anymore.


But today was a bit of a mess tbh but nice to see george win again!

my mistake, i thought the RC212 was a v5 just seen its a v4.


cost of bike (for year) £2.5m
