Guest
I've always had a notion for a very plain custom made one piece leather suit in red don't know why red, can just 'see' it in my head. No other coloured flashes or anything on it, just plain old red.other than that, some Dainese in black/dark grey would be lovely. helmet - a plain black Arai would be nice - but I do like my current lid which is a plain black AGV airtech, nothing fancy, but I like it. I saw two ladies turn up at the Ace Cafe in "red Leathers" both on ducati's (red of course) trouble was they looked fabulous and knew it. Still nice to look at,. the bikes wernt that bad either. rennie
I posted this before but I think it was on the other site, I've never been into leathers, always been a jeans and jacket man. Anyway last year I bought my first ever set of 2 piece leathers, Red, Black and White to match the bike. I struggled for half an hour, upstairs, to get them on, creaked down the stairs and went into the lounge to show the kids, they rolled about the floor laughing saying I was the red power- ranger!!! I've never worn them since.

Guest
The best you can efford..... I would rather have decent riding gear and a cheaper bike......There is nothing worse than seeing some one out on a £5k plus bike with a cheap helmet on which you wouldnt even nut a wall with and no leathers and gloves that are as affective as a pair of marigolds. For me its a Made to measure suit by Speedsport Hull (PWR) with a knox backprotector, Shoei X-Sprit, Alpinestar Boots and Pro gloves. As the old saying goes.... Value you head value your helmet. Not sounding glum but chances are your going to need it at some point.
Guest
As I had to get most of my kit while learning I went pretty cheap I hate to say. Although good quality leathers RST Cruz I would like to change for a 2 piece Dainese Vulcan. Helmet is a Nitro, and again would like to change to and Arai, not sure which one without trying some on. Weise boots are pretty much knackered after only 7k miles. Velcro loose and now vertually slip off. Def next purchase along with helmet. New Buffalo gloves for Christmas, comfy but a little cold without inserts at the moment.Oh to win the lottery, along with all new kit I`d have me a 1250SA Bandit. Rich748
You can't beat palin black leathers... Mine are an Arlen Ness 2 piece in plain black and have the added bonus of making my shoulders look big and stomach look small! Having crashed in them I won't ever crash in less than Ness again. Plain black aplinestar boots and AGV lid finish off the dark look - with only the black and silver ness gloves to brighten me up!
