Now it's getting warmer my Buffalo textile W/P gear I purchased before the winter is getting more than a bit toasty.

I have a maximum of £300 to get a jacket, gloves and either textile trousers or Red Route Ultimate jeans as it seems I am a similar shape to wiffers.

With so many brands out there, I need something that is ventilated, breathes, and comes with CE protection in the right places.

I think the likes of Alpinestar, Buffalo, Hein Gericke, Richa and RST will fit the budget, but I am open to suggestions and ideas - Help me spend my money.

I month or so ago I bought a frank thomas mesh jacket and some red route jeans. Because they are part of the same company the zips on them fit together, and I got the jacket cheap in the sales at cmc recently. The jacket has the shoulder and elbow protection. I wear the jeans for shorter journeys though where I need to stay cool but wear the jacket on longer ones.

The hein gericke stuff I bought when I started is bith good quality as its been down the road a couple of times and lasts well will be nearly six years old and is fully ventilated.

Sleeves and armpit areas so air flows through and out the back.
