jesus Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 As i really never throw anything out i was wondering during there frantic economic times would it be ok to wear odd gear ie as all my boots are black as only one has worn is it ok to mix pairs? I do normally wear odd gloves as one hand gets colder than the other and this works fine.Secondly i want to dump the open face helmet as i have having to comb the beard after ride's would a full face helmet cause chafing? Korben Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Can't see a problem with mixing and matching things like gloves and boots... Old helmets (Over 5 years) should not be used as helmets have a life span. (Some are less than 5 years).Personally I don't get any problems with my beard, although it's only about 3mm in length on the cheeks and about 7mm on the goatee... Ideally a helmet should be a snug fit so it does not move to cause chafing.. Quote
