Phil_D Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Hi, i've just bough my first bike and would like to change the indicators (they look like oranges!)http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n135/loopingdragon/bike5.jpghttp://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n135/loopingdragon/bike4.jpgIm a real noob so im not really sure what options are available to me. I like those mini LED indicators especially the flush ones for the front indicators - are these legal? For the rear indicators I like those mini ones which sit in tight to the number plate - legal? Is changing the indicators a straight swap or does wiring/ mounting brackets need to be messed about with? Also where can i purchase some decent ones from? there seems to be some cheap on ebay but cheap doesnt always mean good! Cheers Quote
Stu Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 flush ones are crap they look crap and people cant see them very well get the mini stalk ones they will be brighter then the ones you already have too they are legal you will need spacers not sure on the wiring and you will need either a new flasher relay or resistors placed inline to slow the flash rate down Quote
Guest Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 you would need some indyspacers to cover the hole left by the originals..http://www.mandp.co.uk/productinfo/5341 ... ors/Motrax Quote
Phil_D Posted June 4, 2009 Author Posted June 4, 2009 Are motrax indicators any good? Im looking at the 'Tip' and 'Allycator' indicators, are these any good? Also can i use short stem indicators for both front and rear? How hard is it to wire it all up with a relay? Quote
