Ok not sure whats wrong but just recently my bike when changing gear wont go into the gear. It does the normal sound and it feels that same as when i normally change gear but i get no power/acceleration just revs i normally have to change down and back up again to get this to work. I know the clutch is released and am not sure what else it could be any help

Also i went out the otherday and found that my bike wasing getting to 60 it would just about get to 50 and then stop any idea on this too?

Its possible you are not engaging gear properly. Happens to us all. Make sure you give it a real definitive 'thunk' when you change gear.. This should eliminate the false neutrals you are describing.

As for not reaching 60.... When was it last serviced?

Were you going up hill ??? (kidding )

well the big thing is i can take my hand away from the clutch while its like this and still have no power to it and if it didn't change gear i would feel it in the bike which i dont i just get a load of revs with the clutch out

I'm forever hitting neutral when I change up from 1st on my YBR125. It's really annoying and wasn't a problem on the schools 125 when I did my CBT. I find it's fine if I give it a good firm kick, so to speak, but still end up coasting and going nowhere fast

Only reaching 50?

I easily hit 70 :D maybe 65 into the wind

Give it a good kick up when you go from 1st to 2nd...

I have repeatedly embarrassed myself putting the bike into neutral riding last friends, luckily they didn't know any different :stupid:
