Korben Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Interesting... Might be worth contacting them about it... Quote
Pete Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I've never heard of iridium visors being illegal. Well, at night they are... Quote
cleedubber Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 As far as I'm aware they are legal, along with dark visors but only in daylightHowever lots of places advertise them as not for road use to cover their backs....cant blame themAdvisable to always carry your clear visor just in case, as far as mr policeman is concerned if its overcast/cloudy and raining, hence restrictive vision...then that might be a bit dodgyThings like that are very subjective as far as the law is concerned Quote
Paul Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Bugger. Knew I shouldn't have clicked on that link. Just about to buy a Silver Iridium visor.........!I'll tell you everytime I log on these days I end up buying something! Quote
Guest Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 yeah, i aint bothered about having an iridium visor. but they do look cool and if legal id be tempted. the blue one would look more cool tho. apparently it helps in dull conditions. Quote
Roadtorque Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 tinted windows on cars have to let 75% of the light throughalthough this states side window, so I assume visors & windscreens remain clear Quote
wiffers Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 mine is niceit says 'legal for day time use' on it Quote
DutchMick Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 I use a black visor day and night, its great during a sunny day and at night it makes you slow down and concentrate ALOT Quote
