Guest Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Hi,First off, hi guys! I'm a newbie (both to biking and this forum) and I'm looking forward to getting involved in the big bad world of motorcycling...Anyway! After passing my CBT I've fallen in love with biking and I've just bought a Yamaha SR125. I'm sure I'll want something a bit faster after (and if!) I pass, but for now it suits me perfectly. There is one thing that's troubling me though... I want to receive an A2 license and as some of you may know this requires the bike the test is taken on to be between 120-125cc and capable of 100kmh (62.5 mph). I realise it may be a bit of a bone-shaker, but will the Yamaha be capable of this? How do they even test this - do they just check you can keep up with traffic? Jon Quote
techno Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 First hello and welcome stick a post in newbie's as well. As for the bike its a 125so will be fine. If it doesnt go tho they'll think its you and just fail you i assume. Quote
GarethNW Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 I just done my test on a 500 and didnt go over 50mph at anytime so shouldnt be to tough (I did get to minors for being to slow tho My 125 is slow compared to your 125 and I can hit 60 as long a I thrash it. Quote
