Guest Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I am fitting LED indicators to my Hornet, and will be swapping out the relay to get the flash rate correct instead of using resistors. Why is there so much difference in prices? Motrax and my local Halfords want £19.99 for a FRH1 relay, yet an eBay search reveals others at less than £10. I don't mind paying for quality, but at the same time don't want to waste my money on packaging either. Quote

I've just done the same thing to my CBR, i shelled out about £17 for a motrax flash it relay because i dodnt want to deal with cutting wires etc which some of the cheaper relays require. I also bought bike specific indy leads again to avoid having to snip wires and change connectors so i can swap back to the origninal indicators easily when the time comes to sell my bike.Check out http://www.worldofpower.co.uk for cheap indicator stuff Quote
Guest Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Thanks for the link Phil I may invest in some indi leads. I was planning on cutting, soldering and then heat shrinking the joints - but this may make it a bit tidier. Quote
