k3vvk Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Hi there. Has anyone on here got a AGV tealth lid? Passed my theory test today so i'm going to treat myself to my first helmet. Went and tried it on etc.. Felt good and comfy(snug). I'm just wanting a second opinion on the qaulity of the helmet and what you think of them. Quote
Pete Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 AGV are a good helmet manufacturer, can't really go wrong with them. I've never had one but if it fits your head nice then go for it!I found this one on ebay yesterday, wish it was new helmet time for me!http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Airoh-TR1-Motorcy ... 1|294%3A50or this onehttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AIROH-TR1-FULL-OP ... 1|294%3A50 Quote
Guest Mr Miller Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Like 'Spanish' Pete said, if it fits correctly then you're in!I suffer from having a nappa like a melon and was gutted when I couldn't get the Stealth over me noggin! cos they certainly look the dog's danglies!Good luck with the rest of your training! Guest Mr Miller Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 I'm afraid I can't help ya on that front fella, for the reasons stated...but I'm sure one of my esteemed colleagues will be along shortly to give you all the info you could need! The only thing I can say is, if you get it and find it's a tad noisey out on the road, you can always shove ear plugs in, if you're happy with the fit and safety levels!Over to those who know.............. Guest akey Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 AGV are a pretty good make, I put my noggin in one!Mind you I have the GP Pro which is an older model, but the stealth is similar and a good lid.As for comfort etc, well everyones head is a bit different, I like the AGV, the padding is removable and washable and my lid has lasted well, its about 4 years old and as snug as when I got it, spare visors are easy to get hold of. They are a bit more noisey than top of the range lids but not as noisey as other lids in a similar price range. Quote
urbanmark Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Shark RSR2Top range lid for medium lid money. Comfy, cool, 3 vents. easy visor release and it makes you look like Darth Vader! (If you get the black one) Quote
