Just been out in a new set of one piece leathers, me first pair and as there new and a tight fit they feel quite restrictive, just wondering how many hours riding does it take for them to loosen to your body.

In this weather they will soon become soggy and stink like you've had them for years.

It shouldnt take to long

I got my set today from J&S suit, boots n gloves as they had a blue X sale :?

Berik in blue/black to go with my bike..

My suit is very tight just like a second skin. Just need the stretchy top n bottoms to go with them from DK i think.

Best way to break in leathers is to go to bed in them. 8-)

Being a newbie, a couple of years ago I believed that and did it one cold winter's evening. So uncomfortable till I took the armour out. Gotta keep the room cool though.

Getting them damp helps break them in apparently. However, you need to keep them on till they have dried off and wax them soon as. I do it for gloves. After a few wax treatments, they're soft and showerproof.

Mine took a couple of rides to break in. It depends on the make etc, but I found a good leather treatment helps as well.
