rosszx9r Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 I have just bought a Scottoiler Touring off Ebay for £82....Should have been just over £100....Bargain I thought.... while it's good for the chain you'll spend the same again on degreaser to get the sticky old cr@p off the rear end in 6 months took mine off and gave the rear end a good clean. had the rear wheel out and couldn't believe the amount of crud all over the swing arm. under the front sprocket cover was the worst... sprocket was surounded in 1" of black paste.it had been on the bike a while and most likey not set up correctly so take your time and check the settings for it and use genuine scotoiler oil. TC Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Never had a problem with mine, they are fantastic.Just remember to adjust the amount of oil flow according to the weathers conditions.Sunny - low setting, crap - higher settingAnd when you clean your bike you should clean the excess crap off anyway.Plus it never harms to give your chain a good clean with Parafin every now and then.http://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/view ... =5&t=21360 Quote
