Not sure if this have ever been posted before.. But i was out in York the other day and spotted some Jeans with armour in the knee caps and other places... Just wondered if anyone has ever tried them and if they are worth forking out for?

Obviously they wont replace leather trousers, but for a hot daily ride in the middle of summer... Its tempting to buy some if they are worth it.

I have a pair of Red Route Ultimate - they're very comfortable, light, come with protection in the knee's and optional hips, and are kevlar lined. They also come with a 6" (approx) zip which you can attach to your jacket to keep them together.

They look alot more comfortable than leathers, especially in the hot weather we've been having recently.
