Call in at the army surpluse place, higher up the hill, a lot of what they sell is

used but good quality, at the moment they have, long thick socks, just the job

for inside biker boots, I just bought 2 pairs £2 : 50,, Now That's A Bargain

as most of you will know, stuff used by the forces is best quality gear

The rest of their kit sucks like a prostitute with a hare lip . . . . very badly!

most of the decent stuff is self boughtn, not std issue..

but the aircrew roll neck, norwegian top and sleeping bag (new CS95) are great, kept mine.. the army issue socks are good but the aircrew socks are better, they're the white ones.. the std RAF black ones are sh***,
