Guest Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Hello, I'm new to this forum and biking in general so i thought I'd kick things off with a lil intro.Just bought an Aprilia RS125 while im gathering the funds for the DA course but the bike seems to have packed up on me. It was running fine initially until it wouldn't start and I noticed petrol leaking out of the breather pipe. Anyone know why this is happening or how it can be fixed? Any help much appreciated Quote

Any help much appreciatedsounds like the float valve is stuck open a little. it can happen sometimes (to any bike with carbs)switch the fuel tap off while your parked up and it won't happen as for it not running, you may of flooded the engine. wait an hour and try again. if not, then tell us more about what its doing (or not doing ) Quote
rennie Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 i agree with the flooding!let it dry out, petrol tap off, choke off,try again, then get back to us Quote
Guest Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 tried starting it up and nothing happened, gonna take it to the garage and see what they say. it was alright for a bit but its been nothing but headache since. for the 2 weeks ive had it must have ridden it about twice. Quote
