Susieque Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Ok, so this might be a bit of a wally question but I've not had this issue before.I've just bought some new Richa Freedom ladies leather trousers and am planning to buy a Richa leather jacket when they've got one in my size, cos I find their clothing fits me better than any other. Was told by the woman in the shop that all Richa zips are compatible with each other, but here lies the problem! The trousers have a half zip but the jacket has a full zip. Will these actually zip together? I can't picture how they could! My old leathers both had full zips and my textiles are different makes so don't match anyway. Don't wanna buy if they're not going to zip together!! Quote
Guest Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Are there two zips on either piece of clothing Sue? Sometimes there is...... If not, No, doesn't sound like they will go together Quote
Susieque Posted August 11, 2009 Author Posted August 11, 2009 Know what you mean - sometimes you get both parts of the zip so you can adapt the jacket/trousers. But no, the trousers only have the 'bottom' part of the zip, so to speak! What a pain!! Quote
mojobanana Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 I've heard there is a place in Flitwick that can do lots with leathers. They'd probably be able to fit an entirely new zip so they are compatible and I've heard it's not too expensive to do. I'll find the details and PM you Quote
Susieque Posted August 11, 2009 Author Posted August 11, 2009 Thanks very much Jo! I've just changed my mind about which jacket to buy - ordered a different one online! Naughty Susie!! Didn't say whether it had full or half zip tho, so may still have to get it sorted! Quote
