Anybody ever used Teknic leathers? Im thinking about buying a 2 piece set for a very reasonable price but Ive heard that Teknic sizes are actually a size smaller than most. i.e. if you were generally a uk size 42 then you would have to order a size 44 from Teknic, does anybody have any experience with this? I'll post a link to the set Im thinking about getting...

If you're thinking of buying from fleabay will you have a chance to try on exactly those leathers in that size before parting with cash? Either from the fleabay seller or at a motorcycle clothing retailer?

Getting a good fit is far more important than the brand of leathers (most off the peg brands are made in the same factory in Asia), so I would not recommend buying without trying. Could be a costly mistake.

As QB says, get to your nearest Teknic dealer, try it on and then buy, if you like. £190 is cheap but it`s damn dear if the fit is crap in both money and potential abrasion burns (should the worst happen of course)

I don't know if it is still the case, but Tecnics used to be a wholly owned subsidiary of AGV and the quality used to be top notch at a lower end price.

But this was a few years ago
