Hi,

Just looking for advice on what to buy to keep the cold off my neck. Rode to work early this morning, lovely morning but very cold wind once I got going. Not sure wether to get a balaclava, or neck fleece. Will be worn with a full face helmet but as yet don't know how cold it's likely to get inside my helmet in winter. This will be my first winter riding.

oxford do a cheaper version of the buff, but i don't find them comfortable. they're a bit scratchy and theres not enough stretch in them for them to be comfy around your neck imo :)

I use a buff in the summer but use a windstopper neck tube for winter, very good and very warm well worth the money.

I have a large selection of buffs at home (funnily enough, most with Sheep on them) which I wouldn't do without, plus a Polar Buff, which is great.

Winter, polar buff round neck and lower noggin, normal buff worn as skull-cap type thing inside lid - - - TOASTIE

For really cold weather I use a coldkillers balaclave, has a bib type thing that goes inside ya jacket. Works a treat. Otherewise I use a standard fleece buff thingymajig
