  1. Yes you read correct a really small yuasa 12v-6ah battery being held inside the bracket by wood, i did a long journey, when i got there the bike just stopped dead, the pump wasn't pumping fuel, obviously tried to start it, warning like came on for low battery, but the EFI warning light stayed off so i'm confused if its the just a dead low powered battery! as i swear if the pump had an issue it would trigger that EFI warning light. Thanks for replying!
  2. Thanks for the reply, I was looking into the CCA rating and how much this bike theoretically needs but there's no information about that in the manual or the Internet, had a quick look at bike.. Wiring hasn't melted, lights work, engine cranks as it should.. But the fuel pump sounds like it's dying, which could of been a component that that battery took with it!.. I'll look into it more when the bike recovered!
  3. Brought a good working peugeot satelis 250 RS, great milage, but I think the fuel pump has died as its not making a noise when you turn key! Was working all good and well until engine started spluttering and misfiring. But my question is the previous owner fitted the scoot with a 12v 6ah battery, but the manual says it needs a 12v 12ah. Would the fuel pump and/or many other components just fail if there's not enough juice in the battery? Thanks.
