  8. Many thanks Nick.................seriously I just needed reassurance I wasn't imagining it or something was definitely missing off the carb, so thanks for clarifying it & I will attempt to fit something permanent if possible......as they say watch this space.....LOL
  9. Thanks for the welcome.................and your Qs statement could not be more true!...............Plenty to arrive from me.......LOL

  11. Hi many thanks for the welcome & link.... On the strength of your reply then, there is no way of keeping the choke on without adding something like you sent? I thought the carb was missing something for the choke to connect onto if you manually lifted up the black lever? So really, I could go back to just clipping on / up the black choke lever with the piece of wire I have previously hooked onto the little bracket you noted then?..............being creative sounds fine............. & a great idea / info........ Much appreciated..........Thanks again.
  12. Hi Ian Many thanks for the reply, yes I totally agree, as said all running fine, I was just curious on ..How would I keep / just put that type of choke on if I did need to? Without having to improvise as I have done with hooking it to keep it on with a piece of wire............Thanks,,,,,,,,
  13. Hi All Really new to bikes, Etc but hopefully getting there with manuals, Forums Etc......& fairly mechanical / practical minded I hope...LOL Looking for advice / help please re an aftermarket carb fitted on my above noted bike. Can anyone please tell me how do I keep the choke "ON" if needed? Its stamped on it KNG 06 PZ26.......As you can see in the attached photos 1 as it is "OFF" & 1 with me holding the choke up. I previously did that with a piece of wire from the black lever clipped onto the brass top clamp screw, and it worked fine & currently all does, but for the winter Etc I really do not wan't to be fiddling with hooks, wires etc! Many thanks in advance...........
