Hi,
I have a bandit 600n 2002, I went to start it the other day but the battery was flat, so i used a lithium jump starter, it did turn the engine over but after a few attempts it sounded like the starter motor had called it a day.
I took the cover of the starter clutch side and I noticed the starter clutch bolt was just finger tight and the starter clutch was also loose. I have attempted to torque the bolt back up to Haynes manual specs as per instructions without a Suzuki workshop tool ie bike on solid surface put in gear and hold the rear brake w that did not work as it just kept turning the engine over so not tightening the bolt, I managed to tighten the bolt with a fashioned tool but my torque wrench did not click,
has anyone got any suggestions how I can tighten the bolt further, or will it be ok,
thanks in advance.
Nick
