Just swapped out my old battery for an Atom AGM, and it’s been solid so far. I ride pretty regularly, and my bike was starting to struggle on colder mornings with the old battery. The Atom AGM caught my eye because it's reasonably priced and there is a video of it being frozen in ice and then immediately starting up a bike.
It's the same dimensions as my other battery so it was no bother. I noticed the difference right away; the bike fired up quicker than before. I’ve taken a couple of longer rides since then, and it’s holding up well. I’m not constantly thinking about whether the bike will start, which is a nice change.
That said, it’s still early days, so I can’t speak to long-term durability. But from what I’ve read in reviews, it seems to stand up well to long term abuse.
Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable AGM battery that won’t break the bank, this one seems like a good option. I really don’t see any difference between it and the yuasa that was in it, other than it was more than half the price. So far, I’m happy with it.
