  1. thank you! Im fine just a bit scratched up but just from looking at the front forks they seem pretty aligned, should i still bother messing around with them?
  2. So i just got into my first "Crash" wasn't anything too bad I was just leaning too far when turning into a stupidly narrow corner and ended up falling/skidding on the ground The bike fell on the clutch side and apart from the gear shifter bending (which someone else just bent back into place) and some scratches theres nothing visibly wrong with the bike. I checked the tires and they seemed to be in good condition, but when I started riding again the bike just felt more bumpy/unstable then usual. I dont know anything about bikes so I'm not sure what else to check but it felt like I was riding with a stone stuck in the back tyre. I managed to get home fine so I cant tell if im just being paranoid but was just hoping if someone could let me know what else I should check on
  3. the only place i could get a "reasonable" quote from was bikesure- was third party only though

  17. I've recently got a motorbike and i was just wondering how people find fellow biker friends? Do you guys just go up to random bikers on the street is it through groups or meets up, for context I live in Southampton and am 19 years old so would prefer to find people that are a similar age to me
  18. thanks for the advice! will defo keep that in the mind for now I was just trying to see what I could do to get the insurance lower then 2k
  19. Yeah unfortunately I'm 19 only just got my license and live in a sketchy area so the odds are not in my favour.. I'm also a medical student staying at home idk how much that would impact the insurance though. Is there a major difference between selecting social use/ social and commuting?
  20. thank you sm this is so helpful
  21. ong that 5k wasn't even the worst a lot of quotes were 9k looks like I'll have to stick to 125 for a while
  22. I'm 19 and got my a2 license a couple months after my cbt. I also dont drive a car and for cb 400cc bikes im getting quoted 2.5k as a minimum and 5k as an average which is retarded I said I keep the bike in a garage put all the safety lock features ect does anyone have recommendations for bikes that would be cheaper to insure? Or do i just give up on trying to jump straight into getting a bigger bike and get a 125 instead
