Thank you. You can be in the EU for 90 days in a 180 day period. We're spending the first 90 days in EU countries, then the next 90 days in Albania and Montenegro which are not in the EU. After this 180 day period, we can then enter the EU again and will spend the next 90 days making our way back to the UK.

Hi all, My partner and I are planning to ride around Europe for the next 8 months if all goes according to plan. How in the world do people insure their bike for this sort of trip? I'm from the UK and we're calling a lot of insurers and they will only cover us for 90 days in the EU. They said a lot of bikers tend to get insurance on the borders of the countries they are going to? Does anyone have experience with this? I've outlined the trip below.
