    New exhaust

Just came back from the garage,I changed the front tyre but regarding the exhaust is not looking good. They said that it can be done but 100% it’s gonna snap so that means expensive job, about 4-5 hours. So at this point I’m putting this on hold because the labour is costing more than the exhaust system,I could get a second opinion from another garage but i doubt there will be a diferent outcome.

    New exhaust

I can’t say that its a priority at the moment it s more let’s say a upgrade that I m planning to do to the bike.On the other side that rust its not gonna go away so let s say I change the exhaust system in the future but what do I clean those studs,is it still a complicated job ?

    New exhaust

Unfortunately I have zero experience experience in bikes mechanics so It s probably wiser not to try something myself.Friday I will go to the garage to fit a new front tyre and they said they will have a closer look and we’ll take it from there. What is certain is if decide to start the job there is no turning back,I will have to expect the worse.
  4. Hi guys,so i have a 2013 Kawasaki Er6f and i was thinking of changing the exhaust so after some research i found a full system exhaust from Delkevic that sounds really nice. But here comes my problem,my studs are pretty rusted and because of that the chap from the garage said that normally this will be 1-2 hours job but being that rusted it could snap and then it can turn to a few hundreds pounds more. I really don’t know if I should risk it,I really like the sound of this Delkevic system but on the other hand I can’t pay that much if things goes south. What is your thoughts on this ?
  5. That’s how I bought the bike with different tyre brands so I will probably get a Bridgestone for the front tyre .After I did some research looks like that for the rear Bridgestone recommends 42 psi while the bike manual says 36 so it’s quite a difference.
  6. So I have a 2013 Kawasaki er6f and the manual says that I should use 32 for front and 36 psi for rear tyre.On the bike I have a Metzeler in the front and Bridgestone on the rear so my question is should I follow the bike manual or the tyre manufacturer recommendation for the tyre pressure? I only ride the bike in the city,I m not commuting or use it on the track, thanks.

That’s correct, the harness keeps my kid attached to me so he doesn’t have to wrap his arms around me.I will go for a short ride without the harness just to see how it goes.

Thanks for the comments but now you got me thinking about the harness,I like the fact that while we ride I can feel him close to me but as somebody said I don’t know what will happen in case of a accident.

It s so hard today to find bond activities with your child because let’s be honest most of them spend most of their time on their phone or tablets. So imagine how happy I am when my son comes to me and says “come on dad let’s go for a ride”. I must admit that the wife was not very fond at the beginning but now she accepted it so happy days.

Hi guys, nice to meet you,I have a Ninja 650 and I wanted to get your thoughts on this : so since I got my bike my son who is 9 asked me if he can ride with me so I said yes why not.So I got him geared up with everything plus I got a safety harness. So we started riding but sometimes in traffic there are some people that are looking kind of angry at me probably thinking that I shouldn’t risk my son life riding on the bike. I was curious to hear your opinion on this,I know there are some experienced riders here, thanks.
