Haven't heard about the cbf but when I went for my last mot the guy told me that all the Japanese branded small bikes are now made in china and the quality is not much better than the Chinese imports you can buy so the fuel pumps may be generic

I have taken to carrying a wet bath towel with me to work and placing my bike in the shade and pouring cold water on it every brake it seems to be working not ideal and I get some strange looks But it gets me home I can't wait till sept oct so I can trade it in if they havent put a block on them if they know there problems wont sell it private couldn't live with my self

I have had this problem on and off for the past 3 years my fuel pump finally gave up last year which I had replaced at the cost off 300 pounds for a fuel pump it's a joke any way I thought at least it will solve my problem but no its summer and my bike will not start it is fine first thing and after 10 at night but during the day nothing it dosent have to be sunny just above 19 degrees this bike is a joke and if you question a dealer they have never heard of it I cant sell it privately it wouldnt be fair so will have to wait till winter to trade it in it cant come soon enough
