  1. this actually falls on one of the rare, once in a blue moon occasions that I get a friday, Saturday, Sunday off, so as long as i have the funds, I will be well up for this
  2. Nothing too major. As Chris said, hitting the horn instead of the indicators, getting stuck in gear, bike popping into neutral. And my all time favorite...stalling in front of a group of attractive young ladies My mate did his cbt on a disused airfield and managed to ride into the only solid object on it (brick outhouse) and near on bend the forks underneath the front of the bike. Needless to say they made him come back and do it again before he got his certificate
  3. I've had my vertigos for 3 years now, and they don't look worn at all, despite being used all year round in all weathers. So comfortable I could and do spend all day in them. I don't have the rain version, but they've never let water in (except when I've left the vents open). I love the look of the new ones, but can't justify buying some one my current ones are still in such great condition. Like others have mentioned, I am a size 10, but had to have 10.5 in sidi's. When I do upgrade, it will definetly be for another pair of sidi's!
  4. Ohhhh cheeky
  5. It was me iPhone.....hounest guvner
  6. Aha does it drive you mad aswell Vicky?
  7. Out for a meal tonight with some friends before they go back to uni, so won't be about tonight unfortunetly dave, looks like a nice evening aswell. Your not gonna come to the marina in your xxs short shorts again are you? Not a view I needed while I was eating
  8. When I got there all the stands where packing away but spent about an hour chatting to the two police motorcyclists there. Two top lads, gave me lots of advice, didn't feel like I was chatting too police, just two huge motorcycle enthusiasts. Gave me a tour of the bikes and all their gadgets, one of them was the unmarked blade (they are replacing the red blade with an unmarked gtr1400). One of them even took the time to tell me every step he took to become a police rider as it's one thing I would like to do.
  9. I reckon it will be worth a look, not sure what time I'll head down though
  10. Ill be there for 7 as coming straight from work. Ash
  11. Anybody going today? weathers meant to be good all day
  12. It wasn't that I was still at home, Id just got back from work, had told sam I would be there between 6.30 - 7, but not too worry
  13. Yeh I called about 6.40 but everyone was just leaving
  14. Haha I know what you mean Neil, when you get a new bike, you dread it getting dirty or wet for the first time, after that it's ok
  15. Well it looks like it's gonna be pissing it down this evening now, but fingers crossed it holds off
  16. Cool, I should be down between 6.30 - 7 depending on what time I get back from work. Ash
  17. I'm probaly going to pop down for a while tomorrow as it's meant to be the last dry day this week. Ash
  18. Yep I've ridden in my fair share of wet weather and my SIDI's have never leaked once (as long as you remember to close the vents )
  19. Ive had my SIDI vertigo corsas for about 2 years now and they are showing next to no signs of wear and tear and they get used all year and in all weathers. As for comfort I could easily spend all day in them, their better than my slippers They may be a little on the pricey side but as I say i've had mine 2 years now and don't see me needing to change then in the immediate future, whereas you can go through 2-3 pairs of cheap boots a year. If you go from a cheap pair to these you will notice the difference as soon as you get on the bike. You'll easily get them for £200 now because they've been out for a couple of years. Size wise I'm a 10 and I found 10.5 to be the most comftorble. Plus I think they look the dogs borrocks Hope this helps. Ash
  20. Ok mate, should be there at a similar time, you still selling the weights?
  21. Right plans have changed again, found out there's an arsenal match right next to where I was going in london and I can't be arsed with the traffic and the yobs, so should be free now, what time were people planning on arriving?
