NEW TRIP!!! NEW TRIP!!!!NEW TRIP!!! NEW TRIP!!!!NEW TRIP!!! NEW TRIP!!!!NEW TRIP!!! NEW TRIP!!!! OK people ..im back on grid and musing over the idea of a trip- with people I dont know...you! Sniper will be putting in an appearance-he will have a passport by then! What im looking for- 1.People happy to be filmed- it will be again released on Youtube 2.People preparred to have a go at something diferent. 3.people happy to camp/sleep/cook rough. What will it be? 1.Approximately 30 days duration starting Mid April 2015 2. There may be the opportunity to do 2 weeks 3.fun- ideal for those who have not done a trip of this nature before. Where? 1. Morocco Cost? TBC- we will be travelling approx 8000 miles by motorbike with 2 boat crossings totalling 10,000miles- let me have an idea of what you feel it may cost If you have any questions- fire away!

OK people- April 01st 2015 seems like a good date...gives people 06 months to organise their "stuff" interested in a similar trip to a new destination ...contact me...its on the drawing board! ( 30 days) ..video will take place so you must be no more ugly than me!...and be prepared to be videod..for the sake of motorcycling!

I was banned 6 years ago for 6 months, accumulating points as insurance was invalidated = no insurance. Couldn't get car insurance for less than £3k on a crap car. It won't stop after the 5 years like when they ask upon taking out a premium because what brings it down is experience and NCB - which you won't be able to prove since your insurance premium for the last few years after being banned were too high! Would police pull you and inspect the vehicle? Probably not, but If you were found out (accident/pulled) then you would definitely regret it. I've had my fair share of illegalities and take it from a reformed character that previously would have thought the same think you're thinking... it isn't worth it. Current rough car quote (go compare - ford fiesta 1.4 / 2003): £2k Not really worth mentioning bike insurance since I haven't had my bike license long enough to make a difference. If you proceed, you do so knowing the risks and deserve the penalties should the come to you just like I did. Well said honest & open account- from the heart- very believable- You need no further advice.

Ive just read this post and was really scratching my head trying to think of what it could be. Congratulations on your persistence & reporting back to help others...so often ..after mucho help from others, there is silence- thanks for the update!

Morning- a 06 yr old contour HD & a contour+ GPS- there is information in the video about them (approx. 04 mins in). My choice, after the image quality, was influenced by the shape, recharging on the go, waterproofing & fitments available. I tend to settle on a brand (if happy)ie Nikon or Canon & stick with them. I like contour, but have heard great reports on GoPro and Drift Cameras also. I have dropped my contour at +60mph onto tarmac & returned expecting to pick up the pieces!!- only to find it has withstood the impact & still works fine!

...Definitely not. there are some people who can comfortably travel on their own & I take my hats off to them. Me (believe it or not )- I like to talk! & at the end of the day- I enjoy talking through the days events & plans for the following day. I enjoy learning new things (welding being an example) & If people achieve something further...then I enjoy it even more. (my jobs have always been in that line of work) Would you consider travelling alone or would you prefer a small/large group- if time/£ were no object...and to where?! rod

Well I have a few family commitments ( eldest is in GCSE yr)- but I have a cunning plan or two brewing. If you would like to come along- do drop me a line- I enjoy meeting new people (as long as you are not totally crackers!)- I don't have dates yet or a firm destination...but it will be videoed & it should be entertaining...but not as alternative as 3 eyes 2 bikes & 1 passport! Thank you for your comments! Its not just the content of Snipers tale...but the "near" willingness to tell a story to camera- without me prompting him too much! - that for me was the change! (unfortunately, he has reverted back to "grunts")- the opening shot of us sat at the table (ep1) was shot on our return- about 2 weeks ago & all I wanted him to do was say something...what did he do..."grunt"- I couln't believe it!
