kammyTT replied to LeoTheBarber's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
I got my DAS for £400 through my local dealership providing I bought a bike with them (which I did) usually costs £550 and includes a full day for cbt 3 days 10am to 4pm with mo1 on day 3 and then mod 2 after pass of mod 1 with all test fees included. worked well for me, passed first time a couple of weeks ago. -

It's definitely an acquired taste but I don't care! As long as I'm happy that's all that matters! -

kammyTT replied to Daryl's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
im pretty sure you cant do the cbt on a scooter then get a geared bike after passing! I may be wrong though. -

thanks folks! looking to get my das booked for next month! let the fun begin! ive already got a helmet, jacket and trousers from friends and family to start me off so just need boots and gloves and im good to go -
Well, I took my first step on the road to getting my full bike licence and sat my theory test! proud to say I`ve passed first time! I didn`t think much of the hazard perception though! I found it easy but didn't score as high as I thought! definatly not a good system they use for scoring.

I had my heart set on 600rr but I feel the stripple is the more sensible choice! all the video reviews ive watched have mentioned how easy a bike it is to ride so that with the fact im no speed demon anymore makes it a good idea on paper.

insurance is coming in around 420 for fully comp,

were you not crapping yourself??? yup Oh actually I jumped on the OHs R6 for the first week until I found mine. that was terrifying as it's mint Just take it nice and easy. didn't do much filtering for the first few weeks just nice and gentle everywhere. filtering meaning through traffic? lol

I jumped straight on my ninja after passing so can't really tell you not to buy the bike of your dreams were you not crapping yourself???

ok so I know this question has more than likely been asked many times over but that`s not going to stop me im looking at what to get for my first bike! ive been to my local dealers with the view of a sportsbike (600rr) which I was told would be fine although I had my reservations on this due to me being a novice! I sat on a few and found the street triple r to be the one I felt most at home with and after browsing the net daily im falling in love with it more and more! so the point is........ am I a manic for considering the triple r??? bearing in mind this could all change after a test ride of course!
