Bike_Rookie

New here and new to bikes. Recently inherited an 80s suzuki that hasn't run since 92. A friend of mine who has a little knowledge shout bikes helped me fix a battery and spark plug to it and has told me the electrics definitely need redoing. I am not even sure what the different parts of the bike are called yet but am hoping to get it fixed up and running. Any advice on where to start in restoring a bike or even what tools or help I'll need would be great. Tomorrow I'm off to buy a bike stand (even searching for them online makes me feel like I'm over my head) and then am going to try to strip the bike down to the frame over the next week or so. I will let you all know how it goes. Any and all advice will be appreciated and very needed!
