hi all, I have been car driving for the past 15 years or so; recently have decided to pursue full A category via DAS. Have done some training practice for 2 days with a great school in Leicester using MT07 bike. Great laugh and banter. However, examiner in Leicester Wigston has failed my MOD 1 test by marking me down on driving to fast on slalom and figure of eight (2 rider faults). Actual speed was 4-5mph during exercise. Last rider fault I was marked down for driving to fast on slow control. Actual speed was 3-4mph. 3 rider faults resulted in serious fail. My instructor wasn't able to believe the result as I was riding real well; and according to him; my speed during maneuvers was acceptable if not perfect. I had good control of the bike at all times. Completed all exercises with correct observations, adequate speed during fast maneuvers, etc. I have approached DVSA helpline and their "senior examiner team"have confirmed that slalom and figure of 8 can not be failed based on speed. Full control of the bike is what required. Did anyone have any similar experiences where examiner marked you down to fail you deliberately?
