Hi I have a 2001 Honda CB500 which as an old aftermarket Datatool UNO immobiliser fitted the touch key no longer disables the bike and would like to remove it completely as I only have 1 key the bike is garaged and only park in closed off areas plus I really don’t think the bike is worth Nicking I have taken the rear panel off where the unit is stored and can see all the units harness and where I think it is spliced into the main harness I can also see where the 3 amp fuse is powering the unit Is it now just a case off undoing the black electrical tape and tracing the cables back and rejoin them on the original harness I spoke to somebody on the phone from Datatool and he said I need to joint out 1 with 2 and 3 with 4, if somebody can tell me what that means I do have electrical experience being an electrician just don’t have a great deal of experience with auto electrics or removing immobilisers lol If any one as any advice I would really appreciate it before I start trying to remove it this weekend Thanks Anthony
