    what kind of electrical interference? ive out some heated grips on would that affect it? and im pretty sure the burning smell isnt serious as ive just wiped loads of dirt from the bottom of the bike. i shall go to cmc's tomorrow anyway to see what they say

    yea the FI light has gone back out. any ideas? and yea its the er6

    when i was riding home tonite i could smell burning and i just thought it was muck on the engine or something. i carried on and about half a mile from home the FI (fuel injection) light came on. any ideas what could be wrong? i still have warrenty from cmc's but cant get there till saturday so will the bike be alrite to get me around until then? cheers

    yeah i noticed the steaming thing. it really freaked me out! by what you have told me i def think its idleing to low. when autochokes on its at about 2500rpm which seems fine. then it goes down under 1000rpm if its cold or if its warm it will stay just over 100rpm

    no carbs either, fuel injection the problem is only when the engine is cold. it idles under 1000rpm and it struggles to keep running. when its revved and the the throttle is closed suddenly it will stall. very annoying as i have to wait for it to warm up for ages. def couldnt leave it outside turned on or it would dissapear

    when my bike engine is cold the revs drop down really low and when i close the throttle it sometimes cuts out. this is what caused my off the other day is this normal? im thinking its not but i'd like ur guys opinion on it, especially as its only started as the colder weather has set in is there something i can do about it? thanks

    hey guys i have just brought a pair of paddock stands and im wondering how is the best way to get the bike on to them as i am a bit weak lol . any good tips? front or back first? that sort of thing. cheers

    at £400 tho i cant realy justify the cost when i can hook 1 up for about £120. really would like a bike 1 but unfortunatly im a poor student

    hi im looking to get a sat nav soon and im wondering which would be the best budget sat nav to use on a bike? have looked at the tom tom bike 1 but its far too expensive. thanks

    hi when i get my er6n i want to learn how to do servicing and repairs myself. what advice would you give me? what tools or special equiptment would i need? ive checked with haynes and clymer already and they dont seem to have a manual for the bike. is it still possible to get 1? do you think in crazy lol thanks

    thanks! after posting i went straight down to cmc's. they have a er6n that i want they said i should be hopefully picking it up today or tommorow.

    I passed! Wahhhhoooo! lol 6 minors tho. at one point i thought i had definatly failed for signalling then not manovouring but the examiner just gave me a minor for it

    Took my mod 1 test today for the first time. Every thing went great except i was a bit slow on the swerve bit. So the examiner told me to go back round again. I got loads of speed up, started thinking the whole yeah i can do this, then my mind went blank. Went straight through the speed trap and kept going! Didnt even attempt to swerve! Whoops. Mod 1 failed. hopefully i will get in again on tuesday and wont make another stupid mistake.

    hmmm i dont think ok is the word for it really. he had to have his knee cap replaced. im mostly laughing because he rides like an idiot

    should hopefully be down there 2moz as i havent been before. a guy i work with kept promsing he'd come with down with me but he unfortunatly rode his moped straight into a car is it bad i think thats funny?
