Any idea of a price range then? I dont want to fork out another £100 or so for it, ive spent far too much on it already an i think its time for it to go.

Update: Not the spark plug, just disconnected it and tried starting to scooter with the plug next to a metal object. A rather fine spark to be honest.

Riding home from a friends last night, about a 10/15 mile ride. Just cruising around 40mph, and it just decides to cut out. No pop, no snap, no crackle, nothing. Was as if it had been turned off. Then it wouldnt start! I had a new piston and barrel kit installed about 3 weeks ago, was told to keep under 40 for the first 500 miles which i gladly did. Gone about 700/800 miles now so i resumed going above 40 were necessary/safe to do so. Just weird the way it cut out and wouldnt start. Ended up pushing it home and stopped by police twice. Ive had enough problems so if its something big, its getting broke and sold for spares. If its something small ill have a go myself, and if i can fix it, ill keep it. If not, again, getting broke for spares Someone please tell me its something small, i dont want to have to see my baby go away after all ive put into it!
  15. Kind of ironic tbh St Georges Day & Birmingham

    Do you nod?

On my trip today across the water, to Birkenhead, i received 3 nods off big bikers :D Was well pleased! I should go across more often! Went to Marriott Motorcycles, my nears Yamaha dealer, to see how much a new WR125X will cost. Well i really only went to see if i could find it, which i did, cause i knew it was shut! But maybe there are decent bikers out there who let onto us little 'uns!
  17. Hahahaha. Ive applied once before, when i was 16 actually. They said no but ive recently been in contact with a specialist in the area of wha stopped me from gettin in, an they reckon now tha am 18, i should be able to get in, so ive got a letter off my GP statin im fit to train etc. So fingers crossed!
  18. Yeah, im plannin on savin up for a 125 geared soon! Ive applied for the Army, so fingers crossed i get in, ill be able to save up quite easy for a newish 125!

  20. Thought id make most of our nice weather here in Liverpool and go for a ride! Took me up through Maghull then out into the Ormskirk hills! Got to the top of Cleives Hill, and had a break, took in the views and a few snaps! I think this is one of the many hidden talents Liverpool possess', gorgeous views and immense roads! Went to carry on further but then seen i had only a quarter of a tank of petrol remaining So i returned back the way i came to refill and return home in time for tea! A few pictures! http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb217/rfn_rigby/DSC00724.jpg http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb217/rfn_rigby/DSC00725.jpg http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb217/rfn_rigby/DSC00726.jpg Got around the corner and seen this IMMENSE view! http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb217/rfn_rigby/DSC00727.jpg
  21. Cheers for the tips fellas! Appreciated
  22. I dont mind giving it a bit of work like, gives me more of a 'thats my bike' sort of feeling. Ive just bought 3 tins of this stuff! Cylinder Black Car Motorcycle & Stationary Engine High Temperature Paint This heat resistant paint has a satin finish and is ideal for exhaust systems on classic vehicles and kit cars. Can be used on exhaust manifolds, motorcycle engine barrels engine blocks and casings, cylinder heads etc. Does not require a primer, just apply to clean degreased surface. Can be brushed or sprayed when thinned with cellulose thinners. Will resist flaking and cracking and will protect metal surfaces from corrosion to keep your classic in good condition. Contains 250ml £6.99 a pop, any opinions/tips for me?
  23. Id say its too heavy to be alluminium! What would you reccomend though?
  24. Will try that! Thanks Pete!
  25. £50 for some tape? Ill pass! I suppose it will be worth it though...
