    Differances

was just looking for parts for my Honda Vfr 400 nc24, when i started thinking about differences in models. With my old Kawasaki GPZ 750 I could also buy most parts from a gpz 900 as nearly everything was the same apart from the cylinder sizes (according to a garage). Is this the case for the other nc models, I need a key ignition, petrol cap and fuse box to start. I know all the ignitions are different pins, but are things like petrol fillers standard and we are just conned in to buying a specific ones for the bikes.
  3. Ford puma, the sensible sporty car. Really like the look of these, what they like to drive. and get parts for these day as they stopped making around 2002 I believe. Yer would be good to see how these scratch removers work as my Nolan Helmet is scratched to hell, and they want £55 for the new visor.
  4. Sorry just tried and got not available as well. But just tried this and it worked, cut and paste in to ebay search: Plastic-Visor-Screen-Window-Scratch-Remover-motor-bike
  5. Hate gravity, it always puts you down Am a short arse as well 5,4 but after ready above fell quite tall, thanks. All lot of good points above, will also take on board as tippy toe on the gpz, not even sat on me vfr400 yet (needs repairs)
  6. Blimey, pic 8 on the photo bucket. coming off on that you'd be more worried about the bikes paintwork than personal injury.
  7. Ah so wish I had made the effort to go, was planning to all year and then something came up at work, dooh.
  8. Just had a peek on ebay and found this ebay.co.uk/itm/Plastic-Visor-Screen-Window-Scratch-Remover-motor-bike-/120338676751?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item1c04be7c0f#ht_934wt_1162 There is another version on there a well.
  9. Thanks will remember that next time, gave up looking in the end as it was on a public road, cars could have dragged it off or squished it. Got one from cradleys in the end at a whopping £10.50.
  10. That's what I thought as well, but none of them either. Just want to find replacement spring and there only whole Carburettors. Have sent a few emails to the sellers to see if they have spares knocking around.
  11. Just pinged my carb spring for my Kawasaki Gpz 750r and now can't find it anywhere . Anyone know where I can get another, have had a peak on ebay and nothing, I believe the gpz 900 should have the same size. Thanks Ohmagain
  12. I would take it back, it will most probably fail the mot (depending on where you take it of course). If one side is flashing faster than the other then they it will be seen as 'not operating correctly'.
  13. I seem to have problems with most government websites.
  14. Have seen some small glass suction gizmos (about 15-20 diameter) in laylands (tools and dec). Was thinking of trying one for my dent in my van. Other than that I would try and push it out from the inside (via fuel hole) using wooden spoon of something non sharp like that.
  15. ROFL, whould put a whole new meaning to a "drag" race. I do like the boot though, but clearly would be more of a challenge matching up with other stuff.
