Hi there, I'm Digs, I'm a postgraduate Engineering student and London based biker at Imperial College and The RCA. I'm designing a new motorcycle mechanical security device designed specifically to be highly resistant to angle grinder attack, it is designed to break away from the brute force, simplistic approach employed by 22mm chains where links each ways as much as a bag of sugar. I was hoping some of you might be able to give me some info on what security you use for your bike/bikes? - Survey Link The reason I'm doing this project is simple, I have friends who do not ride anymore because they cannot afford to after bike theft, and friends who suffer from high levels of anxiety worried that their bike will be stolen and there is nothing they can do to stop it.
