Thanks for the reply, I have only ever bought one which I didn't test ride, bought it as seen. I got lucky it turned out to be a good bike. May seem a silly question but recommendations on what I need to do to test ride a bike from private or trade. ie do I need to leave my van keys with the seller on a test ride? ring my insurance beforehand to get cover on test rides etc. Only purchased cars and vans where the seller can sit in the vehicle when on test a drive. Thanks

Hello The short story, after A spilt form a long time relationship where I was discouraged to do my motorbike test. I took the plunge and did it at 48 best thing I ever did and I love it. Now my new partner wants to do her test so I will give her my Honda hornet 600. My question is what is the next step? at 51 I think I'm a little to old for sports bikes so looking for naked. I have been looking at the Honda cb1000r your thoughts please. Thanks
