Just thinking how I'm going to fold up the soft panniers , use the hard, and maybe send the soft ones back to myself...

Hey chaps and chapesses, I have been riding a few years and will be trading in 2006 er6F for a 2014 z1000SX. Similar biker, newer, sports tourer, very excited Just in time for my trip to Scotland!. However, bad news came in the suspension needs looking at which will mean the delivery date will be missed. Gutted. I'm deliberating riding on the part Ez, meeting, swapping gear and continuing on the tour to Scotland (Kent -> Arbroath via Huddersfield). I realise this is impatient. But I can't delay the mini tour. What are your thoughts on the risk? Distance purchasing, riding the part ex up, jumping on the bigger heavier bike 5 hours in.... Bit stupid or go for it? Cheers! N

I haven't been riding long, still on my 'L's - yet to have a 'meet up' so i'd be up for it when time allows. Only across the water.

I'm also after one of these - can't seem to find one for love nor money If I do, i'll let you know. Would anybody know of a more generic manual that could suffice and help an amateur mechanic (moi) ? N
