Guest Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Hey matey!Pop into newbie section and introduce yourself! An owner of a YBR (or experience with one) will be along shortly..In the meantime, http://www.carlsalter.com should have a free pdf workshop manual to download. I tried a minute ago, but it wasn't working, but I have downloaded the YBR manual for someone else recently and since deleted it!!Typical lol Quote

Guest Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Thanks boys. Great responses. I will take advice. I have checked the two bolts with both imperial and metric sockets and the nearest fit I have is a 12mm socket, but this does not seem snug! Are these bolts a special size? I don't want to round them off. I presume too that they are standard LH thread. Otherwise i have been trying to tighten them Thanks again! Quote

Guest Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Thanks Walney.Job done! But had a bit of fun getting the outer pad in place - bloody springs! Quote
Colin the Bear Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 Standard thread is a right hand thread. Left hand thread fixings (the other way round) are usualy marked with a groove. Yamaha mirrors for example. Quote
