Yamaha Thundercat 600 YZF Knocking problem

Appreciate some help in identifying problem with knocking. You can feel it through the foot pegs, pronounced at low revs, does not occur when decelerating ie throttle closed, does not occur with clutch in and revving engine. Feels clunky at low revs, more a vibration at high revs. I'm thinking it is some sort of bearing problem and am bracing for the worst  Any ideas?

i'd check your engine mounts first.... could be loose and vibe-ing through the frame...

i had a similar issue with my thunder cat. Chain was too tight. Feels "surgey" during when riding at a constant speed. Check for excessive tight spots too. You could be due a new chain and spocket set. Bearings normally make a swishing or grinding noise when worn.

Oh and check your front drive spocket is not loose too. Thunder cats and fazer 600's are notorious for it !
