RiffmasterII Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 I run my ZX6R on 42/36 and that seems to work fine Quote
oldgreg01 Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 My handbook has two pressures for the rear depending on the weight of rider and kit. Is this not the same for all bikes ? Quote
Colin the Bear Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Recommended tyre pressures are a guide. Tyres made by different manufacturers will perform differently at the same pressure. Different loads will need different pressures. Road temperature and ambient temperature will affect tyre running pressures too.Use the guide as a starting point. Adjust up and down in small increments , 1lb/sq", to find the sweet spot for conditions and loading. But more important, check 'em regular. Quote
