My zx6r does not come with a petrol gague so i have to guess how many miles i can get out of a full tank.

I was just going to reset my millage counter and see how far i get till it gets low and need to re-fil again

As there seems a few people with the same bike i was wondering if they could tell me how many miles they get before refilling :D

I have a ZX636 A1P model and can get around +170 before having to switch to reserve and would expect +30 on reserve so typically upto 200miles from a brimmed tank is possible. However if you thrash it everywhere you can expect just over half that.

Practice switching to reserve on the go. One day it may be important. 8-)

Very good advice which I wish I had got before "breaking down" half way across a round about one day, only to find that fumbling around with my bike for a few seconds before my bike come to a complete stop, that I had run out of fuel!

I had to do this the otherday, I was on my way to the garage and just as I overtook a bus the engine stutterd and then went dead. I was able to change it to reserve and get it going again before I stopped 8-)
