Couple of things - Scottoiler and running lights...

Scottoiler - Never had one before. It appears to have stopped. I have recently filled it up, so it hasn't run out. And I have checked the nozzle thing in case it was blocked. Any other ideas?

Running lights - I recently fitted fogs. They appear to draw too much power for my liking. So, whaddya reckon, uprgrade alternator or change to LED running lights. ...

Scottoiler - probably let it run low/empty and needs repriming, or nozzle is blocked if bike not been run for a while

when I refilled it, it was still about a 3rd full. One of these ones mounted behind the number plate. ...

If it needs repriming..... How do I do that then???

You need to force oil through the system - trying to remember how, I have a shaft now! - you need to unfasten the tube from the reservoir and use a bottle of scottoiler with the narrow nozzle shoved into the tube end. Massage the bottle until oil runs out of the nozzle onto the chain.

Quickly reattached to the reservoir

Scottoilers been answered, yep prime the system or put on a high setting and let the bike run for a while..

fogs, had a thought about this myself, but dont use them enough to worry about the drain..

you could get smaller wattage bulbs, or LEDS, but LEDS are more show than go, they look bright for people looking at you, but put very little light onto the road... well that was my experience..

or just turn them off unless you need them rather than running with them on, like a GS wannabe.. lol

Well, the only reason I fitted the fogs, was for road presence. Three points of reference for anyone looking at me. Rather than just the headlight. As it has been proven that the human eye can determine speed much better from 3 points rather than 1, it is another defensive tool to my armoury.

I'll have to look into a lower power bulb...

sorry thought they were more for night riding etc, if its day to day stuff then have a look at LEDs, or can you get LEDs inside the fogs ...

can you get LEDs inside the fogs ...

Like your thinking :thumb:

doesn't need to be bright tbh. They don't actually throw a lot of light as it is. The headlight on the Tiger is pretty good anyway.
